Common-law courts run on generationally trained judges (a multi-decade consumer-key substrate), precedent as preservation, transparent written provenance, and redundant independent jurisdictions, all publicly funded. Read through the book’s design principles, they hold funding-decoupling and consumer-key defense the longest and do correspondingly well. Their redundancy only works while the jurisdictions stay genuinely independent, which political capture of appointments erodes: the failure mode the principles predict.
